Mobile Auto Electrician Service for Classic Cars
I offer a mobile service on the basis that it is far better to have your classic car repaired or re-wired in your own garage by one specialist, rather than to lose sight and use of it for many weeks or months, while also incurring transport costs!
Carrying Out the Job
How long does it take varies according to each make and model plus any non standard extras. So it depends on whether switchgear and components can be reused or need to be reconditioned, whether or not the new loom is ready-made, fitted with all terminal connectors, and how accessible the vehicle is for laying in the loom. More complex cars, like Jaguar XK or E-types etc, take longer.

I like to fit it, not throw it, into the car! I can make a wiring loom if none are available ready made – this does cost more. I’m not VAT registered.
Overnight accommodation may need to be taken into consideration – B&B, unless you have a spare room.
Parts & Sundries
I neither supply nor seek to profit from parts. Customers often like to source their own, but I do warn people of the perils of using cheap import parts which often prove to be unreliable. If I am called back because something doesn’t work, of course I will correct it if it’s due to my work, but will charge if it is due to faulty parts.
Sundry parts, connectors, cables, relays etc are chargeable at cost when supplied by me.
